In a world where fan-made YouTube videos are commonplace, there are so many mashups involving the Dark Knight trailer that we thought we had seen them all. We were so very wrong.
Not only were we wrong, but we missed out on what has to be the most obvious mashup of them all: Batman and My Little Pony. Trust us on this one. It will all make perfect sense if you just click play and let it happen. Go ahead. We’ll wait.
Okay, we have to admit, we were a little surprised to find that the My Little Pony TV show looks like Powerpuff Girls now. But even that shock cannot diminish the brilliance of this trailer. After all, in an parallel universe, the only Joker alternative would have to be a giggling miniature horsey called Pinkie Pie.
Batman the Rainbow Avenger. We think it’ll stick.
Stubby the Rocket is the mascot and generally random voice of Tor.com. It also thinks that the My Little Pony town needs a better class of criminal.
